Odigo volunteers from the French offices took part in the 4th edition of the Engagement days last week. As part of the Culture activities and in support of the philanthropic lever of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program “CommittedTogether,” Odigo invites each year France employees to volunteer half a day to help a local charity and its beneficiaries with concrete actions!
The activities are designed firstly to help concretely associations and their beneficiaries but also to ensure an inclusive approach where no specific abilities or competencies are required to participate.
For this new edition, five associations welcomed 64 Odigo employees to participate in their daily activities.
The 288 hours of volunteering helped concretely 153 beneficiaries.
100% of the Odigo volunteers and the NGOs surveyed are willing and interested to participate in these workshops again!
Several Montpellier employees were invited to the EVS de la Mosson to take part in a theatre workshop. The half-day event gave the EVS women experience of public speaking and (we hope) gave them a bit of self-confidence!
10 Rouen employees took part in Engagement Day with ASPIC, a NGO that helps young people integrate into France. They spent the afternoon doing a sewing workshop as the bags and other items they made will be sold to raise money for the charity.
Eris looks after refugees waiting for papers. Odigo volunteers helped them learn how to build a resume and sell themselves to future recruiters. It was a very memorable moment for many of the participants. The feeling of being useful on a human level!
Employees were on hand to coach young people helping them to develop their career plans and preparing them for a job interview, by writing a CV and covering letter and conducting a job interview. A real moment of sharing!
14 employees visited ESAT Berthier, an establishment which takes in people with disabilities and gives them access to employment. They took us on a tour of their day-to-day activities and taught us about their jobs. Odigo volunteers helped actively participated and give also a well being moment to the workers.
