Driven by our values of humanity, commitment and openness and to underscore the social pillar of our CSR program CommittedTogether, each year at Odigo we invite our employees to participate in community outreach activities with the aim of fostering social links and demonstrating their commitment in a concrete way. We are convinced that many associations provide effective and sustainable responses to the needs of society in general. By participating together with them, Odigo seeks to generate positive impact and do its share to support the development of local communities. Odigo has been involved in many community-building actions in France, Spain and the UK over the past year and below we provide some of the highlights.
For the second year in a row, we set ourselves a collective team challenge to walk for a good cause. This time around the funds raised went to support the work of the French Red Cross, which is cooperating with the Ukrainian Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross in bringing aid to the people in Ukraine and refugees in neighboring countries. The goal was to surpass the 2021 Mobility challenge result and take a minimum of 22,700,000 steps. And we did it!

Towards the end of 2022, in France and in Spain, Odigo donated more than 300 unused books to Books & More and the Librairie du Sart. The main goal of this initiative was to give a second life to unused material and share it with someone else in need. The Odigo team is committed to continue supporting these associations and joining forces to make an impact.
In France, we are an active supporter of the Association des Donneurs de Voix, whose mission is to record and distribute audio books to be lent free of charge to people with hearing impairments. In 2022, more than 70 Odigo team members volunteered to record an audiobook together, and Odigo has also provided financial support to the NGO by making a donation. We also attended a special Donneurs de Voix congress to celebrate their 50th anniversary!! Read more.
Another example of community-building actions are our Engagement Days. Every year in France, our employees spend half a day interacting and engaging with associations who fight for positive change in our society. The goal is for our employees to learn more about the work they do and offer a helping hand. During the 3rd edition of our Engagement Days, five associations welcomed 71 Odigo employees to participate in their everyday activities. 97% of the Odigo employees surveyed were willing and interested to participate in these workshops again.
In Spain, a charity race took place in which 13 team members in Odigo colors took to the streets to support a fundraising effort for the Spanish Red Cross. For more information about Odigo Spain’s involvement in Carrera de las Empresas race, please visit this link.
Meanwhile, in the UK, 30 of Odigo’s employees supported the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices charity. The charity’s objective is to support families with babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical care. Odigo UK donated £500 to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices with the goal of improving the health care of babies, children and their families. Read more here.
